Currently enjoying the recipes from this cook book! So far, they are easy to prepare, nutritionally dense and delicious! In the introductory chapter, Dr. Greger goes over the key points from 'How Not to Die' (his first book, it's massive and filled with conclusions from medical literature on the topic of disease and nutrition). I have not read this one cover to cover, but flipped through last year. It was eye opening just how much science based evidence exists for the benefits of a mostly whole foods plant based diet for the reduction of a spectrum of diseases. Basically, picking up the cook book is like the action plan to nutritional well being and long term health. Absolutely recommend that everyone checks it out and explores the recipes. And for those folks who want more science and research How Not to Die is sure to please and surprise!
