Interesting and engaging film. They were able to create enough suspense to keep you wondering what was going to happen next. Unfortunately the editing allows the pace to be a bit too slow (run time over 2 hours) and the film suffers for it. There are some very dynamic performances from some top notch actors in this film. I honestly think I could watch Oscar Isaac perform the phone book. Ben Kingsley succeeds in both the quiet moments and the brutal moments of his character. The tension of the 'caper' is carried well with the tension within the Jewish characters as they try to set aside their abhorrence for Eichmann and not sink to his level. While you feel all this, it was not at the level I thought it deserved and I attribute that to the editing and pacing of the film overall. I gave it 3.5 stars because it is well done overall, but these issues kept it from being the caliber of film I think it could have been.
