This is the fourth book in the McGuire/ Gavin series that always intertwines an old mystery with a new one. The books almost always open with the discovery of a bog body which is interesting since a ten year old body can look pretty much like a 2000 year old bog body. Often the books contain alot of Irish folklore but not so much in this installment. This may be the weekest entry in the series so far but it is still a joy to read. Hart does tend to write in spurts (you might get a title for two years in a row and then nothing for four years) so I've made up my mind to enjoy each book because , in general, I love this series so much.
