Another rip roaring read from Rory Clements. I am now a fan! Set in Elizabethan times it gives you a cursory lesson in history of that time and the people involved. No loose ends in this story (my only complaint from the first of this series). The story cracks along at a page turning pace, but has enough pauses for you to catch your breath and keep up with the story. There was much deception and double dealings during this period of history.
