Dick Van Dyke's autobiography explains, perhaps, why he's a performer and not a writer. There's nothing bad about it but it fails to spark any feeling that one must read it. I will agee with what someone else said: Get your hands on the old Dick Van Dyke show and enjoy every episode, then get your hands on Mary Poppins and sit back and enjoy. I think those two actions will much better inform your opinions and hold your interests.
