Fire and ice (4 stars?) / I read the original version of this story in the Man Of My Dreams anthology. I understand that she expanded it a little in this volume, and while I liked it, it wasn't good enough to re-read for the differences. Unfortunately I didn't write a review of it at the time, but I recall liking that each character showed strength and vulnerability. Mutual relationships (fortunately) seem to be more prevalent in fantasy/paranormal books. // Knightly dreams (3 stars) / I read this story in the What Dreams May Come anthology. I really enjoyed Knightly Dreams (3 stars), as is usual with Ms. Kenyon's work. However, I didn't think this was one of her stronger stories. The premise was interesting, but the pacing felt off and I never quite hooked into the characters. // Dragonswan (3 stars) / Since I started reading the Dark Hunters series, I wanted to come back and pick up this story. I enjoyed the background lore around the weres in the DH universe. The characters were strong and had decent depth, considering the novella length. I didn't grow particularly attached to them though.
