Dark book. Unlikable characters. I wouldn’t recommend this book.

Disturbed rules in composition with pretensions to originality. Certain rules in the composition of books almost must be followed. This is taught in literary schools. The so-called twist in plot resulted in complete confusion. As somebody wrote comment for this book- "Too many steps too far".

usually with a book, I can figure out what happened. this one, not the case. I was totally surprised, and I bet you will be too.

I highly suggest it if your into that type of book where you are trying to guess whats happening (or happened) really good read.

Great book about a wife who experiences too many challenges at one time and needs to take a break. I love the different points of view. The ending was perfect.

In the afterword the author says she wrote the book during a hard time in her life and didn't know where it was going. It shows. There are a lot of twists and turns but most of them peter out. And the ending was a little meh. It will keep you reading but I felt a little empty and cheated at the end.

Well I didn't see that coming! This book was wonderful! I received this as an ARC on Goodreads and was so excited to read this book before it was released here in The United States. This book is so good! ONE STEP TOO FAR is a story of mystery, jealousy, heartbreak and madness. In between it all you get glimpses of happiness. Told from multiple character points of view this book is compelling and intense. It is not a book that leave you thinking "what happened next" (which I love)! The ending is surprising, yet fitting and definitely will fulfill the reader's expectations. I can totally see this being a quick rise on the best sellers list!
