Joanna fell in love with Leo years ago. They have two children together, and Joanna has been waiting for Leo to re-emerge from the severe depression that has engulfed him. When she discovers that it's not her loving support that's sparked his renewed happiness, Joanna is determined to find something, anything, to use against this woman who has stolen her life and her true love. When she unearths disturbing secrets about Piper, her concerns are dismissed as paranoia. Can she find the proof she needs? -- adapted from jacket

This team of sisters writing together sure bring the drama! I knew there was something twisted about the supposed innocent party......but the last line of the book turned everything on it's head AGAIN.

Trite, simplistic. I can't believe that it took two authors to write this.

Very simplistic style.
The author needs to mature.

This was a great book until the very end!!

A fast-moving novel, with enough suspense to keep you reading. The ending a bit of a let-down - too fanciful and not necessarily intrinsic to the plot.

I felt cheated. While the story captures the reader in an intriguing but predictable series of events, the ending was most unsatisfying and contrived.

OMG! This is totally one of the best books I've read in quite awhile. I enjoyed The Last Time I Saw You, but Constantine outdo themselves in The Wife Stalker. I started it in the evening of July 8, stayed up way later than I should have reading it, read pretty much through all day on the 9th and finished early this morning. I just couldn't put it down until I knew the outcome....and it was hard not to flip ahead, but I didn't. I knew there was going to be a fantastic twist at the end and boy oh boy was there.

When the truth began to be revealed at first I thought it was a dream so I went back and re-read the chapter. I wondered if maybe there was an alternate ending or a turn I'd missed so I read on to see. If was definitely the chapter the authors wrote and what followed was utterly jaw dropping.

I am in several online book clubs and each week we list our current reads and at the end of the month note everything we read that month. Along the way we chat a bit about our current reads and will answer questions about them. Rarely do I post over and over again about how my fellow group members need to read a book. This is one I'll be talking about for quite some time.

This is a total white knuckle, CAN. NOT. PUT. DOWN. read. I began a fan when I read The Last Time I Saw You but this one put the Constantine sisters at the top of my must read list. You don't want to miss this one.

Joanna seems to have it all. Handsome lawyer, Leo and the kids, adorable Stelli and sweet Evie. Life is wonderful until Piper shows up. Owner of a wellness center, beautiful Piper quickly snags the attention of Leo and before she knows it, Joanna is out the door. Papers are served. Leo is moving right along with new love. But Piper might have a dark secret in her past, might be out to harm Leo, the children! Joanna must do something.

Wow, this book! A page turner from the start, this book never lost my attention. I did, however, have a hard time believing some things. I had to squint at a few passages, rolled my eyes, had a full rant at one point.

Then came the mother of all twists! The ball dropped and I was floored.

That said, this gets docked a star for some things that I still thought to be a stretch, too unrealistic. Overall though, this is an excellent thriller. No one does twists and turns like Liv Constantine. Will keep you on the edge of your seat until it shocks you right out of your chair.

What. Just. Happened?! I don't want to spoil this for all of you out there who are on the edge of your seats ready to read this new thriller from the Liv Constantine duo. The story is delivered by two women who are in conflict through the entire book. Piper has swept into town to open up a wellness center and she is looking for a new husband. Joanna has nurtured Leo through a long bout of depression and is not about to let Piper steal him and the children away from her. Who will win this struggle? Can Joanna dig up dirt on Piper and convince Leo to drop her like a hot potato? What is best for Evie and Stelli? The signature twist from LC came a bit late for me -- I was beginning to get bored. It was still a compelling read and this one will have you looking at the narrative in a new light once you are finished. Recommended!

Another fast-paced, absorbing thriller from Constantine, who has a real knack for making you think you're reading one story, but you're really reading something entirely different.
