The suspense of the place Like ended up in kept me interested. There are killings and some gore making it read as a dark fantasy.
The political parts really dragged along.
I read so much, I'll probably forget about the third book by the time it comes out and the library gets it in.

I enjoyed this book. It was actually quite different from the first which I liked. My only complaint is that there was a cliff hanger ending and the third book doesn't come out for several months. I would recommend this book for fans of dystopian novels.
