Two years ago, Jane Norton crashed her car on a lonely road, killing her friend David and leaving her with amnesia. At first, everyone was sympathetic. Then they found Jane's note: I wish we were dead together. From that day the town turned against her. But even now Jane is filled with questions: Why were they on that road? Why was she with David? Did she really want to die? Most of all, she must find out who has just written her an anonymous message: I know what really happened. I know what you don't remember.

The plot is interesting but the writing style is pitched for an adolescent reader. The High school bullying, the rich suburbia setting and quaint love affairs read like a soap opera. There is not socio/political context, I felt claustrophobic and struggled to finish the book.

A psychological thriller with so many plot twists I hated to put the book down.

Jane Norton's car accident 2 years ago killed her boy next door best friend David and left Jane with amnesia, wiping out the last three years of her life - all of her memories of high school, and the death of her father.

A rumor that Jane's accident was a failed suicide attempt has created a huge shunning and immense guilt. Determined to find the truth, Jane doesn't know who she can trust. When people associated in her rescue and the subsequent new reports suddenly have bad things happen to them, Jane finds herself in even more danger.

Excellent ending!

Too much like Reiker books.
Not that interesting.

Good Book! Different from those I usually read. Tells about the secrets that the people keep involving a crash and death of a young man. Jane the driver of the auto is blamed for the death of her friend and neighbor David. Jane lost her memory of the crash and time just before the accident. She is trying to find and get all the information from the night of the crash. Friends and foes are keeping details of the night from her.
