A hilarious and genuinely visionary film from the underrated Albert Brooks, who should be making a film a year like Woody Allen but somehow isn't. It loses some steam towards the second half but then ends well. Its impressive how back in 1979 Brooks got a lot of todays Reality TV right, although I don't think any show has had sociologists on set to observe. Lots of funny lines and gags, he really should be making more films.
