I cannot believe I am the first to leave a comment on this terrific movie. It was very good and shows how people helped each other during horrific times. I was born in 1941 and do not remember much about the times or my dad coming home after the war. He was a captain in the military police and had a company of men at the Nuremberg trials. He did not talk much about the war he just moved on in life and supported his family. He was a great role model. After the movie ended I felt I would like to take a trip to see the zoo which is still open to the public.
