Librarian Reads Challenge 2019

Dec 09, 2017

Though I do not normally read books of this particular setting, I must say I did enjoy it. It is witchcraft with a not-so-surprising, happy twist. I enjoyed the plot and was eager to turn each page, though not very shocked at any turn of events that went down. Still, Bad Blood is a nice magical thriller that makes for a nice read, whether in front of a fire or in a packed cafe of high school/college students.

THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. This is a book filled with twists and imagination. I don't hesitate to say that this is by far my favourite book.

The first two chapters of the book really caught my attention. A woman being burned has a witch and the next chapter a teen in a rehab center. Wow! Whats going to happen next? The book was interesting, but it dragged in the middle of the story and picked up again at the end.
I was a little confused at the beginning the author did not make it clear that Heather was dreaming about the other girls. Overall, this book was a fun fast read.
