Total crap animated garbage!

Overall I enjoyed this movie. This was the first origin story I have seen about how the Justice League formed and I am not familiar with the comics so I don't know how it compares but I thought it was well done and I enjoyed seeing how they met. Seeing Green Lantern and Batman disagree and argue was especially entertaining. The violence in this movie was a bit more graphic than I prefer but the movie was still good as a whole.

Really enjoyed the story. The dialogue and individual scenes are not so great on their own. Always nice to see Darkside as an antagonist, but they could have given him a little bit more of a personality. Michael Ironside's version, I think was the best Darkside. Overall good Justice League origin story.

PARENTS BE WARNED - this is NOT a movie for kids. If you are a teen or older and a Justice League fan, you'll probably enjoy this origin story based on the Justice League/Origin graphic novel. If you are parent thinking about getting this movie for your pre-teen or younger child - SKIP IT! There must be hundreds (no joke) of aliens or characters who have limbs cut off, are decapitated or chopped in half - complete with neck muscle and spinal chord shown like a rib eye steak in great detail. The violence in this is GRAPHIC.

OK Justice league animation. Seeming retro story wherein most of the heroes haven't yet met. They bond in the face of a ET threat.

Interesting adaptation of the New 52's flagship title. Makes me want to re - read the original and compare notes, the most obvious change being the drop of Aquaman for Captain Marvel. Worth the watch but not as kiddie friendly as you may think.

[Batman removes the ring from Green Lantern, he changes back to Hal]

Batman: What's this do?

Green Lantern: Huh?

Batman: No buttons. I assume it works off concentration.

Hal Jordan: How did you do that?

Batman: You weren't concentrating.

Green Lantern: [puts ring back on and changes back] You won't do that again.

Batman: Unless I want to.
