I'm still reading this one and trying to decide if I want to finish. There's a flatness to this book that the Library Journal review gets. This needed some real help with editing. Good examples: Lizzie's relationship with Max has no real development, and at one point I actually found myself confused about which time period the author is writing about.

But I love books about art, history and loss so I think I'll try to get through it.
