Reader Beware. This book is beyond disturbing.
It's based on the true story of Sylvia Likens and her sister.
If you have a weak stomach, perhaps you should google Sylvia Likens to see what
you are getting yourself into.
I can't even say if I recommend the book or not. It was a 24 hour read but what I read kept me up last night and will stay with me for a very long time.

Wow. Great book, not for the squeamish. A real "page turner". If you liked Misery, you may like this. Caution: graphic violence and child abuse. Spoiler alert: Read Stephen King's intro after you've read the book.
