Overall, I really liked this book. It gave me insight into what life was like as a child labourer, and I felt like I got to know the characters really well. The only problem I have is I feel like it wasn't very realistic. To me, it seems like more of a miracle story than the average story of a child labourer, but I don't think it's meant to be an average girl kind of story. The plot is based on a girl called Yuming who is kidnapped and forced to work as a child labourer in China, and Clara, an average girl in the USA whos sister died recently. Clara finds a desperate note in a purse that was made by Yuming, and the rest of the story follows Clara as she tries to save Yuming, and Yuming, who tries to escape the factory she is prisoned in.
