This book really spoke to me. There was actually a lot of suspense as the protagonist searches for silence but can't even find it at night or in nature. Starting to wonder if he'll ever find it, I was pleasantly surprised by the philosophy he uncovers at the end, which gave me a new outlook on my own frustrations at not always being able to find silent spaces. The artwork is really nice too - the illustrator has a great sense of setting and perspective. Overall, this book explores an interesting Japanese concept in a way accessible to many ages! Loved it! :)
