The intended audience for this book is not a sixty-something like ME, so consider that when you read my opinion, I loved the beginning of the book - reminded me of Harry Potter and the gang during their boarding school days! I almost stopped reading when some dark elements were introduced - a possible cult or secret society with blood-drinking, a possible murder, and a theme that you might find in a Hitchcock mystery . I don't want to ruin it IF you like violence and cultish human sacrifices. I just didn't pick up on the extent of the violence by reading the book jacket. The book is very suspenseful and I couldn't put it down, but I won't be reading any more by these two authors.

I really liked the way this book turned out. There is a bit of kissing here and there, but all around this book was definitely a page-turner. It got really intense and there was a cliffhanger at the end. If you don't like cliffhangers, don't read this book. I couldn't put this book down once I read the first page.
