A solid enough debut. I figured out the twists but it didn't stop me from enjoying the ride. I did find aspects of the plot unbelievable (such as one of the twists, that a character would go to the trouble) and some parts handled more deftly than others. I felt the further back in time we went the less nuanced the text became. I also thought the last two chapters were both unnecessary, especially the very last one. An interesting study, overall, in how one sees oneself against reality.
