I think book 3 was so so. The ending seemed rushed but the whole book was basically 3 days. Every minutia was described and it got quite boring. I think if you are going to read the trilogy the first one was the best by far. Then they start tapering off as you keep reading. I struggled to finish it.

A solid addition and end (?) to the Brilliance series.

For the casual reader, it is very easy to jump back into the plot lines and characters that have been building through the first two books. Sakey as usual does a great job of allowing readers to understand the actions AND intent of various characters through very organic writing. The plot by itself is intriguing enough to jump into and carry you through to the end.

For the more invested reader, Sakey continues to pose societal challenges shrouded in the guise of a thriller. There is an extra layer past the super-human powers and plot twists that elevate this book past the average novel.

With all that is good in this book, there are a few elements of the plot which seem a bit rushed and convenient that keep this book from being great. Overall, highly recommend for any level of reader, you will enjoyit.
