Meh. Bit too predictable.

Authors who have published many books, like Asimov, Clarke and Bova, tend to develop a standardized way of story telling that can wear a bit thin. In Bova's case, however, this is another superb novel, with strong characters. It warns about a future global dictatorship, thus going beyond standard science fiction. Anyone who likes good sic-fi will appreciate this book, as did I.

Predictable Ben Bova. A good read, a good premise, however you never really feel the world that exists in this future, nor the characters. Strong and good plot however. I would recommend it as a good read (I am using the word GOOD a lot!), but nothing special. Again, if you have read other Ben Bova novels, it feels very familiar.

This Sequel to New Earth is the real thing. Good old fashioned science fiction, if that isn't and oxymoron. "G" for all ages.
