I have officially decided to become a Bee Keeper this year. This book includes all the basic information to start your own hive. Great descriptions and advice. I look forward to using the information in this book when I purchase my first hive and first package of bees. Hopefully, I can handle getting a sting or two!

This author is very knowledgeable about conventional beekeeping with a big focus on chemicals and treatment.

Having said that, I would suggest that people take this book as only a basics primer and take the chemical and treatment info with a grain of salt.
