There's just something grounded and rich about Ms. Hunter's characters and plots. I've said it before: her stories contain plots with substance. And I love that. I love the feeling of a satisfactory, solid read.
I still never get tired of Madeline Hunter - there are other romance authors/series out there that I loose interest in, but not this one. Hunter is so precise with her words and character building. Even when I find similarities between her books and characters, I don't seem to care. I still am drawn into the story... I'm still hoping she will write more Medieval romaces, but the Regency ones have been excellent. This new trilogy promises to be the same and I eagerly wait the next book. Tragically that is a year away!
