Nic, his girlfriend Haley and his buddy Jonah take a detour from an idyllic cross-country road trip when they are contacted by a mysterious hacker who has gained entry into MIT's most secretive networks. But after a rendezvous in an eerily isolated spot goes awry, Nic wakes to a living nightmare in an isolation unit. Interrogated by Dr. Wallace Damon, Nic soon realizes that the only way to decipher the past is to escape the present.

Add a QuoteNic: The truth of the matter is, total Mickey Mouse operation here. Antiquated methodologies, dinosaurs with government grants. A whole facility built during the first wave of Big Science outdated but allowed to continue pretending that you're important… The only thing I know for certain is that you don't know what you're dealing with. You will be pulled from this shitty little shack you call a research facility so fast that the only thing relevant to be shown for any of this is the way it's all exposed, wrecked, and forgotten.

Add a CommentVery interesting movie. Kept my attention the whole way through.
After sitting through the lengthy opening credits and the first 15 minutes or so of show, told myself I had enough and shut down the DVD player. Totally boring with no major point. Hunt for the crazy hacker?? Better TV movies out there!
Another alien abduction; so what? Does the story have any point? Too much a scramble of twists and meaningless characters, along with an annoying jumble of camera and lighting techniques.
There are many things about this film that do not follow. It is an interesting idea but really the only way it could hang together properly and make sense would be if they made a couple more films around it. That's not going to happen. I would recommend District 9 or perhaps Moon as better but vaguely similar films instead.
The first twenty minutes were like an MTV soap opera, but with no drama or throwing of pottery. Just teens beings angsty, nothing more. The director, having nothing to say, used shaky cam to try to liven it up, but then I was bored and irritated both. DNF
slow, draggy, boring. I quit.
Anything alien related is good to me
A special effects showcase with a weak plot.
Gonna be a sequel to this. Not too bad and I will watch...THE SIGNAL PART 2...WE'RE BAAACK. Just have to see how far he got...............
Not enough drama in the story line. It's too plain. Don't feel any tension or excitement while watching it.
