Beware. Face lotion with 5 drops geranium and 2 drops patchouli?? No. Irritation, yes. 2 teaspoons of turmeric on your face? No.

As an experienced herbalist, research, 'Who is writing this book. What is their experience?' Better yet, go to a local herbalist and get training. Essential oils are NOT to be put onto your face-blatantly. With great care and in increments would you add such a wonderful but volatile oil. There is no mention of that.
Again. Be cautious, unless the author wants lawsuits with reaction to essential oils on the face.

I really liked this book! The recipes look great and simple to follow. The ingredients look safe and completely natural. It has current appeal, and it is full of inspiring pictures to get you excited. One of my favorite books on the topic so far!
