The premise of this book sounds really interesting, but it slowly became more unbelievable. Also, I could not stand her best friend Molly. The whole book Molly just wants to be on the "hottie list" and only cares about herself. Also, how do the teachers at this school not know about this list. Then, once things start happening, none of the teachers are concerned? It's not the most ingenious YA book, but it was a quick read if that's what you're looking for.
I really wanted to like this book! It had all the elements of a great story: an intriguing mystery, a surprising plot-twist, and a few lovable characters, but in the end the author couldn't really tie everything together despite her best efforts. Overall, it left me underwhelmed, a bit confused, and not too happy about the misogyny that was extremely prevalent throughout the whole book. I'd recommend it to teens 13 and up.
