"Mansfield's Book of Manly Men" is about resurrecting your inborn, timeless, essential, masculine self. The Western world is in a crisis of discarded honor, dubious integrity, and faux manliness. It is time to recover what we have lost. Stephen Mansfield shows us the way. Working with timeless maxims and stirring examples of manhood from ages past, Mansfield issues a trumpet call of manliness fit for our times.

Didn't know of this author's other books and grabbed this solely based on the cool cover. Thought it would be a fun, tongue-in-cheek book with some useful tips. Instead, it's a very serious look at what it means to be a modern man through the lens of conservative Christian faith. Not my cup of tea. Well written and well laid out if you're into his other work.
