Jackie is dealing with the aftermath of the errors she made last season. And she doesn't seem to be learning from her mistakes. Meanwhile, Zoey, the new nurse on the block last season, is growing into her own this one. She helps a schizophrenic find his purpose and a stressed-out college student find free home care. She's smart and kind and the person Jackie tries to be on a daily basis. You love them both, two sides of the same card. This show stays with you, darkly comedic and lightly dramatic, dealing with some heavy topics in a cavalier way. I really enjoy NURSE JACKIE and this second season is no exception. I recommend it.

I didn't enjoy the first season of this. I thought Jackie was an unrelateable psychopathic character. So only by not giving up continued to watch and found this season much better. She's less selfish (a tad) and shows more of a mix of factors at play in everybody's lives that gives more depth to the characters.

Doesn't disappoint! Lots of interesting characters there! I recommend it!

Nurse Jackie is a wonderful show and season two manages to raise the bar that was already set high in season one. Interesting to see Jackie's addiction starting to get the upper hand on her, after seeing her manage to juggle her life and addiction seemingly so easily in season one. Great show.

Second season was good. Looking forward to 3rd season.
More character development in second season. Reminds me of Boston Legal meets Ally McBeal with a touch of Picket Fences :)

I think the show really finds its stride in the second season — the characters seem more realistic and grounded now. I love this show! I actually think the nursing/hospital life is more interesting than Jackie's personal life issues (her affair and drug addiction).

“Can you give her a tour of the vending machines?”
“I'd love to. They're beautiful this time of year. The Skittles are in bloom.”
