In February 1959, nine Russian hikers ventured into a remote area of the Ural Mountains. Two weeks later, all of them were found dead. What happened is a mystery that has baffled investigators and researchers for decades. It has become known as the Dyatlov Pass Incident. When five ambitious American college students are issued a grant to return to the site of the original events, they gear up with the belief that they can uncover and document the truth of what happened to the supposedly experienced hikers. But what they find is more shocking than anything they could have imagined.

You'll either love it or hate it - in this case I thought this movie was outstanding! Directed by Renny Harlin, this follows a group of hikers which go in search of what happened to 9 Russian hikers who died over 50 years ago.

Give the film a try and keep on watching until the very end - I won't give it anyway, other than to say the ending was very creative!

Worst "found footage" movie ever? It might be. It's boring, poorly acted, poorly directed, and the script is... Was there a script? And I love how they search for their friend for 10 seconds and then give them up for dead. Literally 10 seconds of searching and that's it. Some friends.

Devil’s Pass is a found footage style movie the seems to be heading all the same places all the other found footage movie go. It heavily relies on camera fuzz and lots of shaky cam to try and create a mood, but overall it is comes across as silly and has very little pay off, until it does. Yeah, you read that right, it actually goes places that are kinda cool, It is safe to say I was a little shocked. That does not make it a great movie, but its smarter then I would have though it could be from looking at the poster, but how exactly does the camera zoom in at the end when no one is working it is one of those things that is cool but makes no sense since no one is using it anymore.
