An album that's very pretty, kind of sweet and kind of sad, and not much else. Head and the Heart fans will see this as a reason that this is the greatest album ever. For me, this album was merely enjoyable - it sounds nice coming off the speakers, but there's nothing that original or unexpected musically or lyrically. That said, I do feel like this album is better than their debut. There's more variety in the arrangements, and you can tell that the band's musical skill is growing. They're definitely a band I'm going to keep following. For now, though, I feel like they're still trading more on persona than substance.
