This is about five friends who are fresh out of college and just trying to figure out how to adult: jaded Angie, innocent Coco, ambitious Julia, uptight Madeline, and the narrator, Pia, who is ashamed of who she has been, but finds that transforming her life (including others' perceptions of her) is a lot harder than she thought. Brooklyn Girls has misadventure and excitement, just enough romance, and a lot of great sentiments about friends-who-are-family to leave you feeling warm and fuzzy.

This was a cute, girly girl book about friendship
