This is the first book in a series of six. I enjoyed this book and read it over the weekend. Certainly an item I would recommend for lovers of romance.

Highly recommend. I first started with the last book, then realized it was a series and put down to pick up this book. At first I wasn't sure I would like the characters. It all seemed a little too convenient, but then you get wrapped up in the characters and how fallible they are. They aren't perfect and make mistakes and realize they make mistakes. Which makes the development of a relationship more interesting and natural. Lovely little romance book.

3/9 - Damn internet ate my review last night and I can not be bothered rewriting it completely, so I'll just give you the highlights.

I LOVED this book.
This book was as good as Moonlight on Nightingale Way.
I enjoyed getting to properly meet characters I only saw glimpses of in Moonlight on Nightingale Way.
The addition of Ellie and Adam's side romance was great.
I found Ellie's diagnosis with a brain tumour hard to deal with considering the discovery of my own tumour. It was more traumatic to read of her diagnosis and resulting surgery than it was to read the parts when Jocelyn broke up with Braden.
This second book (for me) of the series was so good it's got me contemplating buying the whole series (at a discounted price, of course, from one of my favourite online second hand bookstores, Fishpond, Book Depository, or eBay).

Okay, that's it. That's the gist of what I wrote last night, in a condensed version. Can't wait to get to the next one.

Looking for an adult romance with an alpha male lead? Try On Dublin Street by Samantha Young. A contemporary story set in Scotland about an independent American woman named Jocelyn struggling to find her way. She meets Braden, a handsome and wealthy man determined to win her over. The story is emotional, romantic and sure to please fans of Fifty Shades of Grey and Beautiful Disaster. Recommended by K.H., Seville Library, MCDL

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK! I picked it up one afternoon and had finished reading it early the next morning. I lost some hours of sleep, though it was much worth it, I tremendously enjoyed the book. I even shed a tear or 2 when reading this. The characters were so awesome and it just made me place the next books on hold. DEFINITELY worth the read.

A great first adult fiction novel from this author. I really enjoyed the story and the characters. I tried not to compare too much to other 50 Shades-type books. I hope the author writes more novels like these. I'd read this one again!
