Had read Sell Out in the New Yorker and loved it, friend recommended this based off "there is a piece written from the perspective of a condom inside of a high schooler's wallet". Very quick read - short stories, often from unique/absurd perspectives. Almost all about love/sex/relationships. Finished quickly and going to get more books by Rich!

A quirky, humorous book...definitely written from the male perspective. Makes a gal wonder just how many true male feelings lie in the humor???

Like eating a snow cone on the beach; hard to stop and gone before you know it. None of these very short pieces will tax your brain but nearly all will make you smile and a few are laugh out loud funny ("Unprotected" - a condom tells of his life in a young man's wallet; another is a series of classified ads a male dog leaves for various females he's spotted, sniffed (or worse) around NY; a young NYU student leads an Occupy Jen campaign on the doorstep of a young woman on campus who blows off his advances; a cave man proves his love for a cave woman who admires a boastful cave painting stud. Silly, ephemeral, wispy delights for a summer afternoon.
