It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.

Weak film. Nolan was set up to make two movies and it was demanded of him to create a third. You can see where that gets you. Not quite as over-hyped as Inception, but it's fairly close. Don't waste your time. If you must, read or watch some spoiler review.

Excellent film. Bane and Catwoman are fantastic. Great moral and ethical dilemmas once again in one of the great film trilogy's ever made. Thalia Al Gul is miscast but still an outstanding film that will stand the test of time. Its a love story by the way ~ 420

Not as good as the second, but better than the first, The Dark Knight Rises fulfills its duty as a great conclusion to one of the greatest, if not the greatest, trilogies of all time. All three movies are cast perfectly, especially Bane for this one, and is mad by one of my favorite directors.

An ambitious, emotional and satisfying conclusion to my favourite trilogy! Christopher Nolan ups the ante and raises the stakes in this epic conclusion. The film has such a large scope and scale. Does the story of Bruce Wayne/Batman justice.

Kind of an uneven affair- Catwoman is totally superfluous to the story- or maybe I just didn't like the actress portraying her. Still, there's enough good stuff for fans of the first two entries in the franchise to enjoy.

Christopher Nolan is back with the third installment in his Batman trilogy. He ups the cinematography game and character development, even though it added some time to this film. With an all-star cast, The Dark Knight Rises meets the expectations of the superhero movie of 2012, as well as pushes the limits for future superhero movies of its kind. Even with the new additions in the Batman franchise, no one can beat Christian Bale's characters.

Bruce has been retired for the past 8 years, Two Face/Harvey Dent has long been dead, but Batman is urgently needed when a terrorist Bane tries to carry out Ra's al Ghu's vision. Then there's the case of Cat woman, a master thief who just wants a way out of her poverty-bound life. Gothamites left to survive in anarchy without help from other cities, the film has a major plot twist at the end. With incredible performances from very achieved actors, along with the film score producer Hans Zimmer's music, this movie got over 1 billion at the box office.

Good movie, just the weakest in the trilogy. Batman Begins is probably the best origins story of any super-hero, the Dark Knight.....one of my all time favorite movies.

This is a 2012 British-American Batman movie directed by Christopher Nolan.
It is the final installment in Nolan's Batman film trilogy after "Batman Begins (2005)" and "The Dark Knight (2008)."
At the near-end, Batman overpowers Bane and interrogates Bane for the bomb's trigger, but Tate intervenes and stabs him.
Tate reveals herself to be Talia al Ghul, Ra's al Ghul's daughter.
This is a manipulated surprise and a bit of letdown.
In any case, it is an gripping and fascinating entertaining piece.
