This book helped me to develop deeper insights into the importance of the Reign of Elizabeth, the Protestant Queen of England. I have read of this reign before, and even took a college class on it, but this book brought me to a deeper understanding of Europe and England at that place in history and how it affected our current world.

Engaging study of the dark side of Elizabethan England - espionage, betrayal, treason and torture.
