Add a CommentBest picture book I've read in weeks. Big Mean Mike is a combat boot-wearing, peeler-outer sort of a dog, who is tormented by a group of cute fuzzy bunnies who keep appearing in his hotrod. His willingness to realize he can be a tough guy and still love fuzzy white bunnies is a great lesson for any kid. A great story by Michelle Knudsen, and illustrator Scott Magoon strikes his typical deft balance between comedy and realism.
