[Rated one star for obviousness!]
Some people truly have a gift - - a gift for the utterly, simpleton, obvious! Yes, professor, you get a high marks for recognizing and pointing out the most obvious. Having studied real economists, such as Michael Hudson and Michael Perelman, I am at a loss for applauding your obviousness - - but before stating the obvious, perhaps you should research into how this situation came about - - what were the forces at work in the dumbing down of America, and what did they seek to accomplish? Perhaps then you wouldn't sound sound so obviously banal?
NEWSFLASH! The same people defunding education and commodifying it [securitization of student loans] are the same people behind the offshoring of jobs, i.e., the dismantling of the economy!
