A very compelling story for such a heavy topic, this minute-by-minute account of a fictional high school shooting from the individual perspectives of a handful of teenagers is dramatically captivating while also very thought provoking. It also comes with some bright spots as you learn about the characters, and there's a lot of inclusion of diversity. It's a powerful reminder that every person has a multi-faceted story, and there's so much more to the exterior image and behaviors we see. The talented cast of readers in this audiobook marvelously represent each character.
