This book is written by ten women who call themselves "The Shutter Sisters". They are a photography club, sort of, and they've written this book that is unlike any other photography book I've read. For the first time, I've found a how-to photography book that really talked to me. These women believe that the point of photography is to express your emotions, document life (yours and others), and explore your memories. The technical stuff, which they also write about, is only the tool to facilitate those expressions of life and emotion. Each of the ten Shutter Sisters writes a chapter and everyone in the group contributed photographs. The book is fun, inspirational, and educational. What more could you ask for? Go take photographs!
