I pretty much concur with the review from Feb 2014:
Unlike most, it actually was written fairly well, & will keep your attention (i.e. "good airplane read"), but it REALLY falls apart at the end. This is mostly due to the implausibility, which the author seems to "triple down" on, at the end. It also still has the usual PC points, though less than some, and the self-deprecating male hero.

This book is the 5th in the series with this character. Though the narrative and characterizations are done well enough, the whole plot is rather implausible. Fine for an airplane read.
