The first cd has a 40 minutes body scan meditation. I had been practicing mindfulness by listening to guided meditations and, for me, using this first cd allowed me to advance to the next level. I have been listening to it for about a month and I look forward to the awareness body scan every morning. I get the thing about his voice but have gotten used to it. To me, the other 3 disks are not as good and have lots of silence spaces but I will try them again.
Not for everyone. As some have said, his voice is annoying. Sorry, I'm being judgmental.
These CDs can be used in tandem with the book "Full Catastrophe Living" to develop one's own eight week mindfullness program.
