Percy Jackson and the Titans Curse is the third book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Read the previous books before reading this. Percy is on a mission to recruit new demigods to strengthen Camp Half-Blood. But when the mission goes haywire, Percy must rescue Annabeth from the Titan, Atlas. But he can’t do it alone. Percy will have to team up with the Hunters of Artemis, an elite team of Artemis’ followers who have an array of skills. Together, they will have to put aside their differences to save Annabeth and discover the scheme the Titans are planning. Like the books before it, The Titans Curse builds upon an already fantastic series. Along with what we had from the previous books, we get new characters, more information and backstory, and many plot twists. One thing that I really liked in this book is how it provides a new look to Greek Mythology and mythology in general. This book also did really well with tying in Ancient mythology with modern times. Rick Riordan uses previous myths to explain things in the present time. I think that this is a really smart way to keep the stories interesting while still having a modern flair to them. I would definitely recommend this book to other people.-@TheAvidReader of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board
The book “Percy Jackson and the Titan’s Curse” is an outstanding novel for all ages. The mood and emotion this book emits seems extremely real and adds on to the suspense, action, sadness and shock of every little event. This book by far has the best plot out of the whole “Percy Jackson” series with Percy, Annabeth, Nico and Grover’s deadly yet entertaining journey. The text is also very well written, giving little images and senses of the adventurous events throughout the novel. I personally believe that this novel is enjoyable for all ages as it is easily understandable and very interesting to read. Just like any other Percy Jackson book, once you start reading Percy Jackson and the Titan’s Curse you cannot stop until you have finished reading the whole book. This book will even catch the attention of people who simply do not enjoy reading, this book will attract them into the marvelous Percy Jackson series and into the love of reading. Any true Percy Jackson lover will adore this book as it is another outstanding extension to the ongoing series. 5/5 stars.

I have tried to listen to this audiobook 4 or 5 times but I have not been able to listen to it. It appears the file(s) may be corrupted or something so the download kept failing. I thought the issue was with network or my device but I was able to download and listen to other audiobook.

This is one terrific fantasy series for kids from 9 and up! It's got a great main character, Percy Jackson who is a demigod and the son of Poseidon. In this series, the Gods are alive and well, still existing in the modern world. Featuring exciting battles and quests, its a series you won't want to miss. Jessie Bernstein is the reader and was the reader on the previous two cd's. He does an excellent job of bringing all the characters to life. The first two titles are The Lightening Thief and The Sea of Monsters.
