When Anita Blake meets with prospective client Tony Bennington, who is desperate to have her reanimate his recently deceased wife, she is full of sympathy for his loss ... but the creature that Anita could coerce to step out of the late Mrs. Bennington's grave would not be the lovely Mrs. Bennington. Not really. And not for long.

a very good book but way too short..unfortunately there's a couple like this in the series and it's a shame cause the series is damn good and the books should be longer...

I've read books about vampires, werewolves, etc but this book has a totally different take on the supernatural. It was interesting and I finished it very quickly.

A friend from one of my book clubs challenged me to read something in a genre that I usually do not read. I was then directed to this book. Well, this will be the first, and only, vampire/necromancer/werewolf book for me! I'll stick to non-ficton, for the most part.

Love all the Laurell Hamilton books...except this one. Not much too it - plot or size of the book.

Laurell Hamilton does it again! Im a big fan of this series and this book doesnt disappoint. It hooked me and was steamy and riveting! Its not my very favorite Anita Blake novel, but still very good!

I love the Anita Blake series. This one was short, as was Micah, but I loved it nonetheless. This series is great. I can't wait to read the next one!

It was a little short for my tastes, I usually prefer full novels and this was closer to a short story. Very good with an unusual touch of lighthearted fun to it. If you read Jennie Breeden's webcomic "The Devil's Panties" then you also get a wonderful short comic from her at the end of the book.
