Oliver is hilariously mean-spirited to almost everyone he comes in contact with, from his obliviously uncool English teacher to the ex-alcoholic he pays to represent his vast business dealings. No one is spared from Oliver’s scorn, which might distance sensitive readers. The closest thing that I can compare this book to is the Nickelodeon cartoon Invader Zim, which was equally as relentless in its mockery of everything sacred.

Face it - you kind of always wanted to be an evil genius, didn't you? Josh Lieb's debut novel is a hysterical view of an eighth-grader who is an evil genius and has billions of dollars, dozens of world leaders, and an army of supersercret members at his disposal, but yet has to maintain the image of a bumbling, stuttering kid to maintain his secret. Until he decides to run for class president. Dark yet funny, wry and sharp, this one's bound to be fun for YA and adults alike.

This book grew darkly, uncomfortably cynical before taking a turn toward the light as the protagonist began to receive his comeuppance. At times he seemed gleefully misanthropic, which was painful to read. The emotional center of the book comes into focus rather late, and the early parts seemed to reflect a world-weary adult sensibility, not exactly for kids.

Great book! I loved it. I get the humor in this book, and I get the setting as well, being an Omaha kid. The humor is sophisticated (at points) especially for the seventh-grader that I was and he is. Loved it!

A delightful, fun and quick read. I loved it and in all honesty, a funny ass book. I highly recommend. Oliver is hilarious in his own twisted, turned-around off the wall kind of way. To fully get the book without giving away any juicy details, I just recommend you read this book. Yes, right now!!! Stop reading this comment and put it on hold. Oh, and yes your welcome ;-)

Oliver Watson is a seventh grader from Omaha. He presents himself as a fat, lazy, and stupid child. He is really an evil genius, of course. He the world's third richest man, and he has enough power to take over the world. He does this all in a Jon Stewart-like comedic manner. Appropriate for ages 12+ because of complex humor, language and scenes.

Oliver Watson has accomplished a lot more in life than most 8th graders, but no one realizes, and that’s just how he likes it. He flies under the radar as the slightly odd and chubby kid at school, but he’s really the third-richest person on earth, capable of overthrowing dictators, blackmailing the president, and, soon, achieving world domination. A true evil genius, Oliver always gets what he wants, and with his loads of cash and power, Oliver believes winning the election for 8th grade class president will be like taking candy from a baby. But, for once, money, evil, or brains might not be enough to succeed. Oliver has what it takes to take over the world, but does he have what it takes to win the hearts and minds of 8th graders?
