Coyne lays out the theory of evolution in this concise, comprehensible book. Under a less controversial title, "Why Evolution is True" could be a high school textbook.

Case made to show that the evidence for evolution is overwhelming. ID & Creationism have a problem with no verifiable data or facts.

Why Evolution Is Not True: God Said. Or possibly, some people who think they have God in their back pockets said. Why Evolution Is True: Jerry Coyne created a thorough, 270-odd page explanation, in clear, elegant prose. This book could be 10-times, or 100-times longer, and why not? The author has 3 billion years of experience to back him up

An excellent book that explains evolution and the data that supports it in a clear and concise way. Dr. Coyne uses everyday examples that anybody should easily be able to relate to.

'Why Evolution is True' is an excellent book! Prof. Coyne explains complex issues in easy-to-understand terms. He also makes it fun and interesting, which is the ultimate goal when writing a general-reader type book. I like how Coyne will explain a specific topic, and then show how it can only be explained with evolutionary theory. Even if you know and accept evolutionary theory, this is a great book, and well-worth reading! I will definitely be recommending 'Why Evolution is True' to friends and family who want to discover the beauty of evolution, and science in general.
