A masterpiece !
Too weird for me.
It's been 11 years since we had a new Portishead album and things have certainly changed. Say goodbye to the trip-hop sounds of Dummy and the self-titled album. This is dark, haunting and moody. And take the time to give it a few listens, only then will you hear the subtlety and complexity that this album brings.
Odd, cacophonous, haunting, disturbing, transcending, electronic, ethereal, artistic, eccentric and lovely.
