Many people fault Dan(Larry's real name) for being a fake. As he says in the book, he had been a well known comic on the circuit for many years(15) before he began to find success. He is from Nebraska, but he was the only one of the four "Blue-Collar Comedy" guys to have actually lived and worked on a farm. Now, he is very rich and the book is totally politically-incorrect but incredibly funny. His one liners rock! I was disappointed that a recent performance on cable this last yr., seems to see a kinder, more gentler P.C. kind of Larry. Great read and I laughed my butt off, even if some of the jokes are corny!
