An exploration of grief in various forms. An excellent example of literary fiction dealing with homosexuality and love both platonic and romantic. Also, the difficulty finding love later in life and stocism in the face of loneliness.

- another of the short books from G&M article. Chronicles aging homosexual whose mother has died who moves to a house in Washington . More compelling than it sounds, his daily walks and interaction with his landlord and friend. Not an uplifting ending. 7/10
