Should be titled a century of not learning from our mistakes. Whenever you glorify the slaughter of thousands you really are brainwashed.

The History Channel has done it again very well done documentary series. This movie was interesting, informative, and worse seeing!! I recommend this movie for all to see. Well worth the price of admission to any theater.

Panorama of the insanity of war. An appalling spectacle of grown men killing one another with industrialized weapons. Worth watching despite biases and mistakes.

British viewpoint. Hitler wrong to covet Sudetenland, Britain right to rule India. Indians not "loyal" to British masters had been "suborned" by the enemy. Blames Irish terrorists, without questioning Britain's right to be in Ireland.

Says Wilhelm II was Queen Victoria's "grand nephew"; he was her grandson. Says Woodrow Wilson lost the Nov, 1920 presidential election; in fact he had been incapacitated by stroke and was not renominated. Says Goebbels poisoned his six daughters; he actually poisoned five daughters and a son.

Justifies Western suppression of Communists, blames Eastern suppression of profiteers; Communist rule is "aggression" even with popular support.

Confuses terms "Middle East" and "Near East", and terms "satrap" and "satrapy".

Justifies 1953 Anglo/American subversion of Iran. Says Khrushchev caved re Cuban missiles; omits US withdrawal of missiles from Turkey and pledge not to re-invade. Omits that US fired first in Gulf of Tonkin; omits huge Vietnamese numbers killed by US.

Blames 1967 War on Egyptian actions taken in face of looming Israeli attack. Says Anwar Sadat was assassinated by Muslim Brotherhood; he was not. Says 800 Palestinians were massacred at Sabra/Shatila 1982; the number was much higher.
Says PLO attacked Rome airport 1985; another group did it.

Says US stayed clear of Iran-Iraq War; we were involved. Says USS Vincennes innocently shot down Iranian airliner killing 290 civilians in 1988; the act was apparently willful. Omits misleading US diplomacy/propaganda re Saddam and Kuwait, 1990-91. Says Jesse Jackson was US senator; he never was.

Calls crude bombs against Israel/US "terrorism", but not high-tech missiles against Arabs. Approves US satellite spying. Laments that Western super-weapons have not yet brought peace on earth by crushing third-world troublemakers.
